The local mosque leader in Manchester comes across as moderate on UK local TV and said he had an argument with the bomber a few weeks before. The argument was about behavior in the mosque, not about jihadi thoughts/actions. He did come across as honest.
However, I didn’t get a good look at the leaders of the next day vigil in Manchester, but it seemed like the local Muslims were not well represented.
I also find the lack of family details quite surprising, just who were his family members in the UK?
Also, no details on his work/jobs. Was he a perpetual benefits recipient?
