I’ve nailed prairie dogs at 450 yards with a 22-250 pushing a 55gr Hornady SX...
So I see no problem with this shot...

Using a 10/22 and a subsonic round, I nailed a water moccasin through the head at 60 yards last summer, at night with only flashlight illumination.

Apparently a head shot. While helping New Mexico thin the jackrabbit population, (to limit plague spreading) we observed that a Jack hit in the head with a .22 invariably does a high backflip...
