To put it bluntly, Maxine has one job — to rabble-rouse urban blacks into voting Democrat. When she steps out of that box, she makes no sense.
Maxine never made any sense even when trying to community organize blacks. These days her district is becoming more akin to Mexico than the old South Central hood, and Max has become an extreme cartoon version of her already cartoonish self. Max gives the word ugly a whole new definition.
