Even the clips one sees don’t seem at all funny to me. I guess one has to be high on weed or whatnot to get the joke.
I don't think it's meant to be funny as much as it's meant to garner personal relevance to Ko-Bear and reaffirm to his viewers that he's a member of the "cool kids" club.
