The Lake Oswego, Oregon-based Holiday Al Mangement Sub LLC, doing business as Holiday Retirement, wants to relocate its headquarters to Winter Park with local incentives and create 157 new high-wage jobs.
The jobs would be created over the next three years with an average annual salary of $90,926, more than 200 percent above the prevailing average wage in Orange County. The new jobs largely would consist of administration, human resources, accounting/finance and information technology, according to city documents....

The business exodus from California is now infecting its northern neighbor. The tax incentives in Florida I’m sure far outweigh the logistical hurdles for moving across the country.
But please don’t bring your stupid liberal policies from those states with you. We are almost blue state as it is. Thank goodness for the panhandle.
Located just south of Portland. The article says they don’t know how many will move so I suspect that the numbers won’t be very big. Maybe on the bright side this is a conservative owned company that has just had enough. Based on the salaries mentioned, most there would be looking at a gross pay cut but if they are liberals can’t grasp the concept of no state income tax and the COL is far below that of Portland that might end up being a net increase.
Democrats in Oregon are working hard to kill the state. Some Republicans are helping them.
They will save millions in taxes.

Lake Oswego is much less liberal than the rest of Portland.

I’ve turned down conversations with several “head hunters” after learning the position they’re looking to fill is based in CA. No way!
