Erasing history and changing names of landmarks for political reasons is a very Soviet practice.

Isn't it interesting that our contemporary commies are acting just like Stalin in this respect. Give them power, and they'll emulate ol' Uncle Joe in *every* respect: gulags and summary executions included.
