Canada Free Press ^ | 04/28/17 | Chris Carter

“We are sending an armada.”

Pres. Donald J. Trump’s declaration during a television interview on the Fox Business Channel signaled the deployment of Carrier Strike Group One to the Korean Peninsula in response to North Korea’s bellicose rhetoric and upcoming missile test. The Navy canceled a series of port calls for the strike group earlier this month and diverted the ships to the Korean Peninsula in a show of force against the hermit kingdom.

But what’s in the armada?

I rolled my eyes and had to hold back a chortle when it was first reported that a Nuke was ‘in the area’.

Since he’s the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, he can send it wherever he chooses.

The MOAB works by over pressure, not concussive.

Every thin skinned small boat would be crushed like an aluminum can. Any larger craft that had hatches open, the people inside would be crushed, even if the craft would be relatively intact (unlikely).

Plus, I'd imagine every craft would be pushed under water. Unless, all the water in the harbor is displaced. Meaning, the water rushing back in will push all these hulks into each other, doing more damage.

Yeah, it's not like it was unheard of idea.

The fun part was when the boat came up, to confirm everyones suspicions.

The ridiculous click-bait title of the article makes it sound like he’s Lord Nelson or something.

...and I thought our military was “depleted”. I am reassured after reading that.

And...Chongjin is a close city, note you don’t see many pic’s offered in Google Maps, -it’s home to one of North Korea’s worst political prisoner camps.

It should come as no surprise that the naval assets are pointed inwarrd (thousands of patrol boats) pointed at capturing and/or killing defectors.

That is just a play on Crocodile Dundee’s

KNIFE? YOU CALL THAT A KNIFE?
(as a missile ‘misfired’ on the launch pad)

THIS IS A KNIFE...

As a BOOMER does a LEAP out of the water...

No, they were designed to make an instant LZ for helo operations. Same idea, big boom out the back of a C-130, but much small yield than a MOAB.

Thanks Gaijin, I drug my way around the coastline for about an hour. Interesting to see how empty the country seems. Lots of rugged coast. Buildings all seem uniform. Boats docked at every settlement. Some strange things I couldn’t identify. Bet our eyes in the sky can pick up what a person is having for breakfast.

If there is a plan for removing the Nork threat before it can arm itself with functional ICBMs then you can bet that China is already involved. Russia won’t do anything.
