In a dispute/divorce the advantage in front of a judge is almost entirely with the woman, even if she makes most of the money. I say for a man who really wants to marry and is skittish of predatory American women, save up some air fare and go offshore. Find a wife in a third world NON MOSLEM country and bring her back, or if you have something to make a living there on, stay there. That said a cousin of mine was an AF colonel in Egypt during the Morsi insanity and a Christian family he was acquainted with begged him to marry their daughter because a moslem had claimed her and there was no way out of that for her unless she had an American to marry. So he married her. He had been divorced by a wife who got tired of being a military wife and had said he would never do it again. She is fabulous. He is retired and they live in Florida now. He is a happy man.
And that is SO wrong.
