Soldiers were never held responsible for murder when killing in the line of duty was required. Neither was the executioner for fulfilling the role in capital punishment that the government deemed necessary for whatever crime demanded it.

“Thou Shalt Not Kill” of course is speaking about murder. God commanded to kill when Israel went to war. God knows we are intelligent beings and unless you’re trying to purposefully to misunderstand, He treats us as intelligent and reasonable beings.
That doesn’t matter though of course to you. But again, I don’t think you’ll have to worry about anyone tricking you into marrying them.
