And just what do men expect out of women? From the comments on this thread, especially the ones about the foreign women, it seems like men just wont someone who will be totally submissive to them and wait on them hand and foot.

hmmm. Men are from Mars and women are from Venus. I think another problem today is that we have lost that awesome team appreciation of our differences and more importantly, the support from same-sex friends in staying in our marriages. Without God, there will be discussions among men degrading women and among women degrading men, as opposed to appreciating our differences. There is only one head coach and God should be the owner of the team, but it’s still a team. The quarterback does get to make calls.
By the way, the above view is philosophy only, I suck at relationships beyond friendship.

We are not looking for someone who is “totally submissive to them and wait on them hand and foot.” My wife has a high-end math degree. She loves me and I love her. We are both conservative Protestant Christians. We enjoy doing things for each other and we get along very well together.
I know you are a Christian and you post many threads in the Religion forum. You can understand what I and others are saying here. We want to be with someone who is our best friend.
