And feminazi family court judges. An important element of the system.
Divorce rate statistics include those married multiple times. Repeat divorces should be factored in but the liberals are putting the fear of marriage into the minds of everyone. Do your own mental survey. How many people do you know who are married and have not gotten a divorce?
Having a steady job helps. Nothing de-balls a man more than taking away his ability to work and earn a living.
LOL. Nope—nothing to it at all.
Go back to sleep Ichabod.
The man Im with NOW, IS my first husband - but all grown up!
Analyze THAT, LOL!

actually I have heard that 1/4 to 1/5 of divorces end up in remarriage to the same spouse.
My parents re-married.
Sorry, I’ve been married for nearly 20 years. You have a choice of whether to marry or not — that’s up to you of course. However, He forbade sex outside of marriage, and He didn’t allow any outs whether you think the system is corrupted or not.
Some men don't want to be men, but they don't have the hostility for the opposite sex that women have.
I was married to my first wife for seven years. What a bitch. I hated every minute of it. I’ve now been married to my second wife for almost 14 years. I have enjoyed every moment. The secret is to find someone sweet. I know there are fewer and fewer of those these days, but they are out there. Marriage is great when one finds the right person.
always marry someone nicer than you
there was a study that married men live longer.
Someone took a look at the internals of the study.
Turns out, it only seems longer.
I have had my heart shredded a couple of times.
I am too trusting for marriage.
Have come to be okay with that.
I think many here are frustrated at feminist women.
I think some would think differently if they could have a traditional marriage to a traditionally minded woman. The world has changed and women’s attitudes have changed in recent decades. Men have reacted to changes in women.
Flame away as I know what I said here is bound to be controversial. But we tackle the tough issues here at Free Republic, and if this stirs the pot with some of you so be it.
Dick the butcher was right.
I wrote on FR sometime back when I signed and a few times since that society, our Culture was losing control of the channels of male identity thst is the engine of our superiority and advancement. Stunning to me that this fairly young woman gets it. Maybe there’s hope.
Why is divorce so expensive? Because it's worth it! :-)
There have been a number of studies that happily married people live longer and are in better health than single people. I believe in marriage because I am a Christian and a Roman Catholic. I also believe that people who have children together should get married and work very hard at loving their spouse and having a happy marriage for their own well-bring and the well-being of their children.
Short story:
Buddy’s marriage on the rocks, they decide to split up, they’re coming around to the matter of CUSTODY:
Buddy goes over to wife’s house to pick up the kids at the appointed hour. No answer to the doorbell, that’s weird. And sirens in the distance.
Ding dong, ding dong, still no answer, WEIRD..! Sirens getting louder.
Clatter, clatter..! What’s that..? Oh, I see an item has been dropped onto the porch near the front door from a 2nd story window. Hmmm, what is it..?
He picks it up: A KNIFE..!
Police cruiser power-slides around corner, oh my, he’s coming up onto the FRONT LAWN OF THIS HOUSE..! What a mistake..!
No mistake! She’d called and told the cops he was threatening to break in and KILL HER and he HAS A KNIFE..!
Out come their pistols and most of the spectating neighbors, he’s arrested, and yes, they did make it stick and she got FULL CUSTODY..!
GAME, SET, MATCH, just like that.
Nice, eh..?
If it happened to my SWEET PEACH BUDDY, it can happen to ANYONE, the guy never hurt a fly in his whole life, prolly.
I had to look that up. Great trivia question, that!
Married 40 years and still in love.
I feel sorry for the young people today who can’t make marriage work because of a few setbacks life throws at you. We were poor, worked hard together, and now getting ready to do all of those things on the bucket list.
