President Donald Trump's chief strategist, Steve Bannon, has opened up about the rift between his political website Breitbart and Fox News — and he blames Megyn Kelly.
In a recent interview with Politico, Bannon said, "The big rift between Breitbart and Fox was all over Megyn Kelly. She was all over Trump nonstop.”
Kelly, who has since departed Fox News despite an enormous offer from the network, made headlines when she accused then-CEO Roger Ailes of sexual harassment in her most recent book. Ailes would later resign amid claims made by other female staffers at his network, including host Gretchen Carlson, who filed a lawsuit against him.
Bannon said that he had previously warned Ailes of Kelly before the incident. "I told him then, I said, 'She's the devil, and she will turn on you,'" the Trump strategist told Politico.
Kelly was critical of Trump during the Republican primaries, a fact that did not sit well with Trump himself who, in a fashion that has become typical for those that draw his ire, fired back on Twitter, lambasting her show and its ratings.
This week, Fox News was dealt a further blow as their No. 1 ratings magnet, host Bill O'Reilly, resigned amid sexual harassment allegations, much like Ailes before him. Longtime pundit and Fox News host Tucker Carlson has been picked to fill the now vacant primetime spot.
I don't know how you can show it ANY impact.
But, if anything she HELPED Trump.
If I recall she asked him about Rosie O'Donnell. That gave Trump the opportunity to double down. That was completely ON BRAND for him. That allowed him to dominate every single minute of media coverage in that debate. If I had been his campaign manager, I would have tried to place that question, and maybe that's what happened. He got to promote his brand over every other candidate in the primary, and he didn't even have to talk about policy. It was a grand slam for him to lead off the whole series of debates. The other candidates should have been mad at her.
So, please tell me what she did that hurt him or tried to hurt him?
Your problem is you just believe whatever the media tells you. You need think for yourself. C'mon, you can do it.
I always felt on guard when hearing her, she seems like a weasel on the prowl. Not to forget O’Reilly, she has a hatred of men like so many leftist media liars.
He acts effeminate. His favorite book is something about how Americans should act more like the French. He believes in a universal income, i.e. the government should pay everyone an income, whether they work or not. And cradle to grave welfare state. His political terminology comes from deviant pornography. What would any conservative like about this guy?
One would think that Ms. Kelly may have been the ring leader of that so called group. Funny though no one has claimed that O’Reilly ever manhandled any of the women. It’s all been verbal and a he said she said thing.
In Bill’s case I don’t think it was about women but more political. Rupert’s boy child is taking over and is a Leftie.

I know it’s true because I read it in the newspapers, and now, I heard it from a FReeper.

Kelly is “dangerous” anywhere as she lacks all core values and believes clearly the the ends (her advancement) justify any and all means.
