Looking for a full-time job that allows you to work completely from the comfort of your own home?

Global hotel chain The Hilton is looking to hire full-time "remote reservation sales associates" in 29 states, including Wisconsin.

According to the Hilton's website, employees in this position will be required to: • Answer the telephone and greet prospective guests in a friendly manner to create a superior guest experience • Listen to and acknowledge callers, to ensure understanding of inquiries, and to deliver personalized travel solutions • Utilize solution-oriented sales skills to maximize revenue for our hotels and business partners worldwide • Provide accurate information regarding availability, sales promotions, accommodation types, transportation to and from hotels, rates, etc.

Pay for this position starts at $9/hour. However, pay incentives could bump pay up to $14/hour. Jobs benefits include discounted rates at Hilton properties for employees and their family and friends.

This is a full time 40-hour a week position but the Hilton says schedules can be flexible. Candidates must work between 8 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Even though this is a work-from-home position, the company requires employees to live in one of the following 29 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.

Start time is 8:00am. Latest clock-out is 2:00am. Means a person would have a ever changing schedule. I personally hate that set-up. ESPECIALLY if the pay were only $9. per hour.

Likely split schedules as well....even at $14. I would have difficulty doing that..for me time is money and I value my time far more than a few extra dollars might mean.

I recall a job I took for a very short time...I think three months, it took so much just to go in I was taking “mental health days” off just to endure. Good I was looking for other work!..That was the only job I ever had difficulty going into.

I had one like that...my last job actually. I took it just to earn a semesters tuition for my son so he would stay in collage (O! If only I knew!)

I needed to work six weeks, but as I could tell after just one week that the business was going under I stayed on so that I would be eligible for unemployment. At the end of month seven we got word. Yipee! Man, what a crappy job.

Yep....it’s tough going into work like that....tension is high and you never know what’s going to go down when you get there.

I can handle a lot of stress but this job went over the top because of those managing the place....people were taking sides...it was awful! Some even would dodge a manager and hide if they saw them coming...so I wasn’t alone.
