It’s not a slippery slope. It’s a sharply defined and inclined cliff face with a quick fall and a sudden stop at the bottom. A person is free to vote and express their political views either for or against a political opponent or public servant. Threaten their life publicly, however, and you’ve taken that jump. There’s no gray area.
