In Maryland:
Columbia mega Mall is struggling, Sears, Macys, plus ~ 10 empty store fronts.
Towson and Anne Arundel mega malls seem fine.
Absolutely mobbed with people. No abandoned store fronts.
The Valley Mall in Hagerstown lost Macys recently but is still bustling.
I refuse to go there due to the daily mobs.
As poor as this area is, in general, I have no idea where people get money for all the stuff they buy...except for the welfare royalty, that is.
