“test of the strength and staying power of the grassroots movement that has mobilized in opposition to the new administration”

I take it that by grass roots they mean Soros/DNC funded and directed?

I was in San Diego when the womyn's march took place the day after President Trump's inauguration. I happened to see it on the way back to my hotel.

By a very long stretch, it was the most disgusting public spectacle I have ever witnessed.

This may have something to do with it :

Majority of 230 protesters arrested on Inauguration Day will face 10 years in prison and $25k fine as US attorney says they will be charged with felony rioting

I wouldn’t say they’re losing steam. They’re just devolving into silly parodies of themselves.

That really is the primary motivation for most of them.

They’re not in class, not at work, not sitting at home; apparently being stupid and acting like spoiled brats can be a fulfilling hobby for some!

>>On Saturday, protesters plan to gather in cities across the United States, and around the world, to demand that President Trump release his tax returns,<<

2 words:

They did?

His taxes have been thoroughly examined by the IRS so they are not asking for enforcement of laws or that Trump be held accountable. They are demanding that someone’s right to privacy be violated as punishment for holding political opinions they disagree with.

So this is the most they can hold against Trump. That he stands on his right to be treated the way everyone else is treated. That’s all they have on him. After all the wiretapping, spying, gossip and background searches, this is all they have on him.

Notice how there are no more Black Lives Matter or Occupy Protests?

The same group of Leftist organizers (Soros, Unions, Democrat Party, Communists) are still doing the same job, but just trying to sell it under a different brand.

They are very consciously trying to mimic what happened during the rise of the TEA Party - like the Cargo cults on Vanuatu tried to replicate the steps that proceeded the arrival of the Americans in World War II, with all kinds of new treats, trying to magically make it happen again (wearing the same lucky socks and such).

Easter weekend probably wasn’t the best time to hold this. The climate rally on April 22nd and the may 1st rally will be large.

When their fallback is protesting tax returns, you know they are in big trouble......

A climate rally on April 22nd?

That's about as far from normal Americans' thoughts as Trump's tax returns.

I'm sure there will be hundreds of people all over the US.......

Miraculously morphed into hundreds of thousands by the leftist media.

Lol. You could be right. Apparently a lot of scientists are taking part which is why I figured it’d be larger.
