Are we going to credit Trump for this? Is it a 90 day wonder weapon or just a normal development that has been in the works for a couple of years? If Obama was still president he would have been praised for it, now they’ll say Trump is a war monger looking for a war. Little nukes are nothing new, we’ve had them since the 50’s. The Davey Crockett comes to mind. Lets see how the MSM portrays this earth shaking news. LOL.

I can already hear the liberals squealing with agony!!
Lets test this on Kim Jong Un. He wants a war so bad we'll give him one. The shortest war ever.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is a “gravity” nuclear bomb? Drop one from an airplane and gravity does the rest. I thought all nuclear bombs were “gravity” bombs.

I appreciate the post. Because not-so-humble gunner acted like a liberal, I read the blog.
Thank You!

Reading it didn’t make a lot of sense to me. Is it a conventional version of a standard nuke, ie casing filled with TNT or such?
As some body else posted, aren’t all nukes dropped by aircraft gravity bombs?
Humblegunner rubbed me wrong this AM or I probably wouldn’t have paid too much attention.
Back to somnolence.

We were talking about New Mexico’s green chili burgers the other day.
I stopped in Old Town Albuquerque and had one at the Backstreet Grill. Very good quality. I think I was going about 82 mph with three semi-trucks around me when I went through Tijeras or I would have given you a call.

I guess I should add that this thing has a couple of significant characteristics.
1. It is the original Nuc Bunker Buster — first versions developed in the 60 for ground penetration.
2. At 700 lbs it can be carried by anything — hence the F-16
3. At 11’8 and about a 13” diameter it can ship anywhere in large numbers.
4. It was developed when the Soviets were using about a thousand feet of granite for their Cheyenne Mtn equivalent — NK did dig that deep.
