Apparently the undercover person who befriended the accomplice was misled. The info I had was direct from the undercover agent but may have been the kind of thing Dog the Bounty Hunter is (falsely, I believe) accused of. Namely, assuming too much about his own importance and ability.
Body was probably thrown in the ocean and eaten by the fish and other sea life.
We may never know the real story.
OTOH. It may take longer to actually locate the body even knowing the General vacinity If it’s private property access may take awhile
and besides, perhaps there is a bit of truth to what the informer found out, just not all the details.
