Trump’s Mexican Border Wall: See The Proposals
KFSM-TV ^ | April 8, 2017 | CNN Wire

The wall along the Mexican border doesn’t have to be made of boring concrete slabs.

It might be a “smart wall” filed with fiber optic cables designed to detect anyone trying to climb over or tunnel underneath it. Or it could resemble a medieval castle, with a notched top and turrets. It could be made of solar panels, or even be a work of art.

These are among the ideas submitted to the Department of Homeland Security, which is considering bids to build a barrier of some kind between Mexico and the United States.

This round of bids is actually to build a prototype for a wall, the first step in President Donald Trump’s much repeated promise to build a border wall....

Whatever wildlife there is has habitat on both sides. . . . It will just divide the populations not destroy their habitats.

They have already destroyed a good part, according to these pics just from the AZ border. Tribal lands also report the same destruction. I can just imagine what it looks like in the other border states.

Comment under that last: "This is on an ‘illegal super – highway’ from Mexico to the USA (Tucson) used by human smugglers. This area is located in a wash, approximately 1.5 miles long, just south of Tucson, Arizona. If a flood came, all this would be washed to the river.
It is estimated over 5,000 discarded backpacks are in this wash. Countless water containers, food wrappers, clothing, feces, including thousands of soiled baby diapers. And as you can see in this picture, fresh footprints leading right into it.
As we kept walking down the wash, we thought for sure it was going to end, but around every corner was more and more trash."

I might would try to answer the question but I don’t know what grade you’re in. Should I start with 8th grade science or where?

Kind of an arrogant little turd ain’t ya. Hate to bust your tiny bubble but you might need a little more science than to be a licensed Petroleum Engineer.

You came in with the snide remarks. So try to “eduamkate” me. If you don’t want to engage in civil conversation, then I’ll throw it right back at you.

Move on, please.

There was nothing snide nor sarcastic about my question. I simply asked how the wall would effect the animals you listed and instead of answering the question you questioned my intelligence and education.

This was my question.
“Please explain in detail how the wall will be a problem for the species you posted, since non of these are migratory animals.”

You totally avoided the answer and instead started with your high school BS thinking your being cute and intelligent. All you really did was show everybody on here what an unlikable disgusting person you really are. And as for your useless degree why don’t you take it to DU, they love talking up their wasted paper. I’m sure you would fit right in, be kind of like old home week for you. Have a great day in your lonely little sad world.

I am not going to offer you a detailed answer. It’s not worth my investment of time.

And I never said I had a degree in that field. My studies did include environmental impact. I’ve seen it in real life business too where companies have had to pay a lot of money to rebuild habitat or relocate species.

And I never suggested not building the wall. If we KNOW certian things will be issues, why not incorporate them into building the wall? It wouldn’t cost a lot more if done right.

Now I will go back to my lonely little sad world.

I realize big projects take time, but I’m afraid this will drag on until the Democrats and/or GOPe manage to declare it unfeasible. Hurry up already!

The fence must be 100% physical, and high tech options if any must be additional. We CANNOT TRUST THE BUREAUCRATS who will be hired to monitor any virtual fence. Washington politics and future administrative treason must be kept out of the loop.

The cable isn't just sitting in the open, it is buried or embedded in the fence itself. Fiber optic perimeter fence detection is quite amazing. I know from experience having both installed and maintained such a system.
