IIRC most,if not all,such records are kept in Saint Louis.Some time ago I requested my records from that office (I'm almost certain it was in Saint Louis) and got them quite some time after.

Also,(IIRC) there was a fire at this facility which destroyed some records.I don't recall which ones.

Yes, that’s where the records are. That’s where the company I’ve hired is. The man said the only thing he can find on dad is that his service number matches up. That’s it. I have some other documents at mom’s that he may be able to use to find a DD214 equivalent.
