Ken Buck’s op-ed wasn’t great.
It was mindless cheerleading.
It did not say one thing about why or how Ryancare was going to get rid of Obamacare.

But its dialog. If no one’s talking nothing’s getting done.

Trump wanted this bill partially because it would have let him credit the savings and get better tax reform. It was clearly not the bill he was hoping for. He tried to sell it because that’s the team player thing to do but he made it clear that if it didn’t work for the American people by the time it hit his desk he wouldn’t sign it.

If you believe the CBO predictions are WAG and this bill give him political cover with CBO to allow for the improved tax cuts that’s a good thing, part of unwinding the government stranglehold.

There is certainly trust in Trump involved because Ryan’s bill is a real piece of garbage as it stands. I think Trump was angry because the conservatives didn’t step up to the plate and help get it tuned up & passed. Now some seem to be a little more ready to work. We will see.

Trump is proposing the first actually budget in almost a decade; the last time the Democratic-led Senate passed a budget was on April 29, 2009. I’m hoping that this street fighting attitude will get it passed.

Everything Trump wants to do is going to be fought tooth and nail, nothing is going to be easily won. Thank God he’s a tenacious, cunning, ballsy man who loves his country and loves winning.
