He is trying to bring the Nation together and look for mutual goals so that rather than stagnate we can move forward on what we can agree on.

By taking the highroad in this manner he can but those who don’t work with him on the defensive later on and be justified in excluding or working around them.

It is actually very threatening to the Dems to have him reach out to them that way because they are going to have to come to the table and be counted. They can’t hide behind attacking and being the No party. If they push for Big Government solutions that have failed there will be discourse and they will have to own the fact that their policies have put America in debt and disarray. They will be hoist on their own petard.

I’m not defending an ultimate result here which involves passing a more liberal bill with Democrat help. But I’m also not defending the freedom caucus blocking the entire agenda for a result which cannot possibly pass Congress.

So, imposing socialism on this country, “taking the high road?” We had eight years of appeasing Obama and attacking conservatives. Now, you are saying we need four more years of that?
