That is so much the point about Obamacare.
It stole actual coverage from the healthy to get money for the very ill which is unworkable since it leaves the healthy paying for nothing of value to them. Then it left everyone vulnerable to being wiped out by a moderate healthcare crisis because of the high deductible & copay. Ergo they had no insurance or access to healthcare only the illusion.
Obamacare was a complete distortion of the premise of insurance. The insurance companies made sure they weren’t the losers but the people were setup & fleeced.
Having a $5000 deductible isn’t having health insurance, in the modern meaning. More people are allegedly covered, but they only have health insurance in name only.
