It was the Freedom Caucus that fought like hell to bring that same bill repealing Obamacare up for a vote again but with Trump as president, as an alternative to Ryancare. Ryan and the GOPe killed that effort.

Your theory about funding is a canard. Yes, the Freedom Caucus members did get funding from those donors, but so did many other politicians—and much more money, to boot. SOP.
The Freedom Caucus saved us and President Trump, for that matter, from a steaming heaping pile of a bill that would have bit Republicans and Trump in the behind in ‘18 and ‘20.
Trump got bad advice, and Ryan blew it by allowing the bill to be drawn up in secrecy without input from Freedom Caucus and other key Republican groups. Ryan confounded this early error by not getting enough support before introducing the bill to the floor and trying to strongarm it. Ryan was doing business as usual for the uniparty/governing elites.
The Freedom Caucus saved the Republican Party and Pres. Trump from sure defeat in the House elections next year. When only 17% of the electorate approves your plan, you’d better drop it or you won’t survive as the majority party.
Agree. Put forward a one paragraph or sentence “Obama are is repealed” bill. Get the RINOs on record for voting against that.

They can make any legislation a little more conservative. They can persuade some moderates to be a little better. They can negotiate for a few items to be a little less bad.
The can negotiate to get one or two conservative items in a bill.
They can stop any legislation completely.
They cannot write legislation and get rinos to sign on.

You people supporting the repeal and REPLACE with more government are not getting the point and are going to destroy republicans in the end.
Americans do not want more government but less. We also want our old health care back....just put laws into place to stop outrageous lawsuits for all but the extreme cases and allow insuance to sell in every state plus take out the turning away of pre-existing conditions. If you have to have government health-care do it only for the very poor that can not work.
