Yes these purists has cost us dearly. This was not going to be the final bill. It had to go to the Senate then through reconciliation. Now Trump’s agenda and momentum have been stalled which was much more important than these never Trumpers agenda. Thanks for nothing!!!!
If it was going to be changed in reconciliation then why not pass the best possible bill and work backwards. As usual, the left wing leaders of the Republican Party negotiate against themselves and pass left wing versions of what should be good bills. Pass a full reform to free market and force these democrat senators in red states to vote against it a year before their reelection bids. Work back to a compromise bill and then finalize it.
