After withdrawing his health care bill from the House floor in an embarrassing defeat, Speaker Paul Ryan said Friday that Obamacare is the law of the land and will remain so for the foreseeable future.
I don't know what else to say other than Obamacare is the law of the land, Ryan told reporters shortly after House Republicans canceled a planned afternoon vote on their alternative to Barack Obamas 2010 health care reform law.
It's gonna remain the law of the land until it's replaced, Ryan continued. We did not have quite the votes to replace this law. And, so, yeah, we're going to be living with Obamacare for the foreseeable future.

Trump and Ryan held hands while they climbed to the highest branch of the looking stupid tree out of which they fell. The stupid party persists in earning its reputation.
Good, let it ALL FAIL. This just may be the beginning of hitting rock bottom which is what we need to do before we can build ourselves up again. I just hope Dems aren’t in control when we do.
The Russians did it.
Bingo.....medicaid is where millions of people have been shifted from a lot of the policies that Obamacare voided. The dirty little secret is that in some GOP districts upwards of 30% of their base uses medicaid in place of the lower cost policies that they use to have.
I hope you're right. On the surface though it APPEARS Trump drank Ryan's Kool Aid. Ryan is poison to our Republic.
Was thinking just that. If the scum had it, it would change real quick .
I have no idea if true, but I had heard before that Trump had made an executive order that the mandate was dropped. Is this true, and if so is the mandate still there or not?
Yup. All the neverTrumpers who tried to get Hillary elected are crowing from the same page, AGAIN. Hang Ryan around Trump’s neck...
The same aholes that rallied around Ryan asking Trump to step down after they leaked that ‘locker room’ tape. Pathetic hypocrites.
