This is the opportunity for Trump to fire Comey and second in command McCabe. Recall he fired Flynn for lying, turnabout is fair play. Comey and McCabe are doing the work of the democRATS to take down (impeach) Trump. Recall, Nixon had the opportunity to destroy the tapes for national security but opted to release, which ultimately destroyed him. If Trump doesn’t cleanse the FBI, he’ll be finished.

Comey basically said he saw no evidence that "Obama wiretapped Trump."

That means that he saw NO evidence that Obama "personally ordered" said wiretap or "personally directed someone" to install and listen to said wiretap or that Obama "personally went to Trump Tower with wiretaps in hand and installed them."

That is most likely an accurate and truthful statement. Obama is going to maintain plausible deniability.

Comey is either a good guy or a bad guy, but Sessions and Trump know the truth.

There is no way at this point that we can know. We can read the tea leaves, but there is obviously much that is going on that is invisible to those of us on the outside.

I didn't watch the proceedings because it is really a snore to sit through. However, if they asked Comey if Trump had been "wiretapped" and there was no evidence that he was "wiretapped," then they asked the wrong question. They should have asked him if Trump had been "surveilled," then if he answered in the negative he would then be lying.

Technically, he didn’t lie. If you’re getting intercepts from “people around Trump” but not “wiretapping Trump himself” then Comey wasn’t “lying”.
