On his personal blog, Assistant Professor of Humanities at Shimer College Adam Kotsko argued that the real reason behind the "extreme vetting" proposed by President Trump, as well as the reason the President has proposed building a wall between the United States and Mexico, is that "we dont owe them anything and they can go [expletive] themselves."
Professor Kotsko detailed his beliefs in an article titled, "How will we know its over?"
Professor Kotsko "The Trump budget proposal is a nightmare petty and vindictive, short-sighted and cruel," he begins his piece. "Inexpensive programs that literally save lives are being cut, apparently out of sheer spite."
Kotsko continues, "Why do we need to turn away refugees? The official reason is that they may pose a threat, but surely the real reason is that they are not our problem, so they can go [expletive] themselves."
President Trump's proposed wall between Mexico and the United States is based on similar logic, he writes, stating, "why do we need to build a wall to keep out the Mexicans? Supposedly theyre stealing our jobs, leeching off our public services, and committing crimes. But come on: the real reason is that we dont owe them anything and they can go [expletive] themselves."
"Any idiot," Kotsko argues, knows that these ideas "will thwart human potential at best and kill people at worst." But Trump supporters, he adds, "will follow him to their death if he lets them hurt the people they hate along the way. The amount of pent up resentment and ugliness he has brought out into the open has already been more corrosive to our frayed social fabric than we can fully grasp."
The professor then says he hopes President Trump's supporters "dont start publicly saying that the poor, elderly, and disabled should just die if they cant fend for themselves."
If they do, he warns, this "is no longer a society. Its a death camp waiting to happen."
It’s better that the Mexicans go [expletive] themselves than [expletive] the American taxpayers.
Sorry ‘profethor’ (sic). Black Africans were and still are the biggest slave traders.
Huh. I’m from AK and have Dutch-Irish ancestry. I wonder what
Adam would say?
I probably became a product of slavery without even knowing it.
Finally! The perfesser gets something right!

Kotsko would rather hurt Americans...they deserve it.
Or so he intimates.
My ancestors fought and died in the Civil war for the North in order to free the slaves (one of the reasons) and I have the ancestry to prove it.
He gets partial credit for being partially right. It’s also because American leftists (and anyone else who undermines our sovereignty) can go F themselves.
Sheesh
..PROJECTION at its best
And the Mexican government allows Americans to freely ‘migrate’ there and leach off their system?
better themselves than us

My 4th great-grandfather owned some slaves in Tennessee. I’m not proud of that, but those are just the facts. I have yet to see a dime from their labor — mainly because slavery was over and they were free ninety-two years before I was born. The old man died in 1865 and I haven’t seen my part of his estate either.
His grand-daughter, my 2nd great-grandmother, married a Union soldier. He served in an Illinois volunteer regiment for the entire duration of the Civil War. He marched with Sherman to the sea and somehow found his bride on the way home.
I’m paid up.
Cry, Professor Snowflake, cry cry cry! LOL
I think technically, it’s because FU, not because they can go F themselves.
An assistant professor from a nothing Left Wing liberal arts college in Chicago few even know exists. The ignorant, arrogant douchebag has had his 15 seconds of fame.
Well...bye.
My ancestors were spaghetti benders in southern Italy until 1906 and when the romans took slaves they were color blind.
Well, yes. And Hondurans and Guatemalans and anyone else who don't bother with visas.
