When Republican congressman and Army veteran Brian Mast saw that a Florida VA hospital didn't have photographs of President Trump and Secretary of Veterans Affairs David Shulkin hanging in the lobby, he took action.
Mast and a group of local veterans brought portraits of Trump and Shulkin to the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center and demanded they be installed, and the whole thing was caught on camera.
They were successful, but within hours management at the hospital took down the pictures.
Their reason? They could not authenticate the photos and they have to follow protocol.
A VA spokeswoman said that the congressman’s actions and the actions of the veterans who accompanied him were "inappropriate."
She said that portraits on display at the VA need to come from the central office....

You would be correct. This is a prime example why the VA should just be stripped down to a bare bones agency of validation checkers and data collection that provides eligible veterans the opportunity to use healthcare facilities of their choice.
Just noticed there’s a Trump flag (Make America Great Again) flying next to a POW-MIA flag, and U.S. flag, on the side of the road on the grounds of the old Griffiss Air Base here in Rome, NY. I’d passed it before, and thought it was a Trump flag, but it’s on a stretch of road that has no shoulder, and traffic is always heavy so you can’t stop. When I went back that way again today, I slowed down to get a better look, and oh yes! It’s a Trump flag!!

AFGE? AFGE does not have much power, other than negotiating and filing grievances and other complaint types unless the administrator gives them authority or allows them outside of their bounds.
The administrator maybe in collusion with AFGE, but the responsibility is fully on the administrator.
The top boss at this facility needs to be canned.
Rep Mast was on Fox & Friends this morning discussing this. It sounded like West Palm Beach isn’t the only VA where pictures are not going up. Link to the video of his interview is below.
As I mentioned on another thread(s), President Trump is supposed to go to Mar-a-lago this weekend - I think it would be great if he paid them a visit and saw to it that the pictures were installed and visited with the vets.
