Why are we still in Germany? Why are we still in England? World War II ended 75 years ago. Its time to bring those folks home.

The thinking is that if we pull out we’re just going to have to go back in 20 years anyway!

I think we are still there because of the NATO alliance and the need to keep a close proximity to Europe in terms of a fast response team. Given the fluidity in the Mideast, some European bases make sense.
