This should be the civil rights issue of our time! Why should people lose their civil rights just because they die? Dead people are some of the most vulnerable people we have, and this sort of abuse is unthinkable.

Tell ‘em to move to Hudson County New Jersey. Dead people vote there all the time. Sometimes four or five times in a single election. It’s a democrat Party stronghold.

I can testify that, when my wife died, they promptly took her off the voter rolls.

In my case, someone told me that, since she was registered in San Diego County, and died in San Diego County, that the election officials were able to find her in the database and remove her as a voter. If she had died somewhere else, it would not have happened that way. At least that’s what I have been told about their processes.

Ideally you need states to communicate with each other on this subject. I’ve heard that there are numerous retired New Yorkers in Florida, who are registered and vote in both states. There should be some way to prevent that, but, I can see it’s a problem if Florida officials don’t communicate with New York to share information.
