Those who refused to comply will probably turn to some kind of crime or scam. If they’re not disabled, they’ll try to get so designated, which is pretty easy, I’m afraid. They’re not going to go hungry, that’s for sure. Apparently, they’re going to beg, borrow, or steal, rather than give up four hours a day working, or even less hours volunteering or going to school. There are volunteer jobs that consist of nothing more than sitting with an old person as a companion, and they can’t even be bothered to do that?

In our neck of the woods. . .the food stamp card is so abused.. . .an exchange for drugs, non-allowable items (cigarettes, alcohol)rides, etc.

If you have ever seen what is in some of the recipients’ shopping carts, it is so sad. There they are with little kids, piling the cart full of junk food. No fresh produce. Sugar, sugar, sugar,processed meats and then watching them get into their vehicles. . .lighting up cigarettes before putting their vehicles in drive.
