Conviction forces me toward the view that only committed, truly born-again believers are truly conservative. The rest may have some ‘conservative’ principles - but they are all the servants of the god of this world and subject to his rules.

These have no choice but to obey that which they can rationalize - and their right-wing views are more a loyalty to the government of man that they happen to agree with, then to a God they have never truly had the joy of meeting by faith.
