Good grief, this has a zero chance of going anywhere.
But, it does show how much these people hate lawful gun owners and the U.S. Constitution.

Not against gun rights, but.....
Right there you know they are lying.
Emails leaked a long time ago by anti gun groups and politicians show this is the tactic they use to disarm.
Antigun folks dont get to decide what common sense gun laws are.
If so we needs all men to decide womens reproductive healthcare rights. They dont like, that. So why do we let them definemwhat is common sense for gun owners when they dont know a clip from a magazine or anything else about guns for that matter.

What they do know is guns can be used to resist criminals sponsored by their government.Socialism can only triumph when the people are unarmed.

a call for “common sense” laws scare me.
It’s usually an attempt at an end run around the Constitution.

Yup, but the good news is that this meeting probably could have been held in a phone booth.

If you read the article, one of their gripes is that someone got killed while attempting to rob someone. His accomplice is being charged with murder ‘even though he didn’t pull the trigger’ and the would-be victim isn’t being charged. We just can’t have crime victims defending themselves!

Were not against gun rights... but we are."
We're just going to push the same old "common sense" gun laws that we've heard a thousand times before, none of which have been proven effective in preventing unlawful or improper use of guns.

Good grief, this has a zero chance of going anywhere. But, it does show how much these people hate lawful gun owners and the U.S. Constitution. This isn't for reducing criminal "gun violence". This is for reducing the risk that criminal young black men will get shot by their intended victims.

Let’s curtail these morons 1st and 4th Amendment rights for a while as a test on how this works before any further discussion.

...Isaiah Johnson, 17, and his friend Tavares Floyd planned to rob a third unidentified person, who reportedly shot and killed Johnson....
And that these crusaders prefer that street thugs like Johnson and Floyd shoukd be able to prey on unarmed, helpless individuals. What’s common sense about that??

Matthews called on the Jefferson County District Attorneys Office to investigate and arrest the individual who pulled the trigger, arguing the individual was a prohibited possessor due to being a teenager.Blame the victim, cause Dindu Nuffin was attempted felony assault and robbery.

Substitute “negro persons” for guns, and see how they like those potatoes. I could do a list like the one they gave, but it would be in bad taste. Yet it demonstrates what tinkering with civil rights can get you.

No problem with these criminals stealing a gun to commit a crime, but a young law abiding guy (no mention of race, possibly black) having a legal gun is a problem?
But but but... the thieves were turning their lives around, I’m sure, and just needed cash to tithe at their church.
