I'm not so sure, but assuming for the moment that you are correct, one has to ask where Valerie Jarrett is these days? I haven't heard her name mentioned on the news in months; yet during the Obama years she was often described as "Obama's brain", in that he never did anything of significance without consulting her.
Jarrett is definitely a player in some form.
