That phrase stuck in my craw too. If their lives are in "disarray," it is not disarray caused by Trump.
First to blame for any disarray would be their own country's leaders (if you can call them that);
second to blame would be Barack Obama, for promising them resettlement in America as recently as LAST MONTH.
I mean, what gives with that? Last month? Obama knew -two months earlier than that- that Trump had been elected after campaigning on a resettlement moratorium. AND he knew that Trump would advocate helping "refugees" in place, rather than plonking them down here into a completely different culture, where many of their countrymen are already refusing to assimilate.
I think the answer is clear:
Obama was playing politics with these peoples' lives. If any American is responsible for their disarray, it is Barack Obama.
