IF Calif secedes, the Tesla assembly factory in Fremont will be moved to the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center, right next to the now open Tesla battery plant.

Musk bought an additional 30 acres adjacent to the battery facility. IF he moves the assembly over here, he won’t have to pay union wages, will pay less workmen’s comp, and will be ale to build what the public will buy.

Calif is handing Musk a solid reason to move out of the Fremont plant, where there is NO room for expansion to assemble more cars.
