The world is watching Trump trade some chaos to get the benefits of entrepreneurial management. Its fast and messy, but hes testing in real time. Hes watching protests. Hes watching news coverage. Hes watching social media. And hes rapidly adjusting as needed. The net effect of Trumps bias for action in his first week is that he created a presidential brand of being the most action-oriented president of all time. Your first impression will be sticky. If things work out for Trump, you will forget any temporary chaos and remember him as the most effective president in history. Success fixes everything. Every entrepreneur knows that.

Adams really gets it. I especially loved this quote:
If you see a pundit crying chaos about Trumps early moves, youre probably seeing someone with no entrepreneurial management experience . . .
Entrepreneurial management experience is rare in echo chambers, isn't it?

Trump is leading better than anyone I have ever seen in my entire life.
The chaos is coming from the left and its media.

I think Trump's methods are closer to the
OODA Loop. It is neither chaos nor entrepreneurial management. From the outside it may appear chaotic to irrational thinkers.

Yes, Hive Mind. That quintessential leftist characteristic is at the heart of my as-yet-unpublished book series.
My problem is that the ideas I started using years ago, when I began to write a science fiction novel, are coming true so quickly and often, that by the time I can publish it, it will seem derivative.
Oh, well. I cannot regret any of this: The nation is infinitely more important than my literary success.

The consumers of mass media news/entertainment share the hive mind. Watch and listen to how your colleagues/coworkers all react the same to stimuli pumped into them through newspapers, tv, blogs, social media, etc.
I think it survives because some people feel much, much safer in a crowd. If one isn't particularly bright it's safer to parrot what the perceived bright people are spouting.
It also serves to identify the outsider. For years mentioning an article in the NYT was a quick way to identify who was worth talking to, hiring, etc. Virtue signaling on Facebook performs the same function today.

I think you are quite right. Trump’s success I believe is in large part due to his ability to think faster than his opponents.
Establishment politicians and the media are not used to being proactive. Both entities are slow, reactive institutions who continually navel-gaze to figure out how to frame events.
By the time they have developed some way to react to something Trump has done, he has already moved on to the next thing.

Trump’s playing 3D Timed Chess, and the opposition has lost 9 games in a row. But they don’t know it yet and are still analyzing game 3, trying to figure out how they got checkmated (again). Meanwhile, Trump has started game 10 and hit the timer.
To: PA Engineer
I agree with you.
I find it easy to ignore the pundits and critics (on both sides); I do not perceive what he says and does as chaotic.

He's got 48%on his side, and 37% will strongly disapprove of him no matte what he does. The fight is for the other 17%.

These media buffoons and establishment politicians are eating Trump’s dust. I think Adams is spot on.

When I was a corporate auditor, if I interviewed people and started hearing the same words and phrases, I knew I was being fed a load of bull.
