Somehow this missive from Richard Branson ended up in my golden tweet stream:

Richard Branson: Opening her door to the tired, the poor, the huddled masses yearning to breathe free has made America great for 240 years. Keep it up!

Libs support traditional values only when it makes their case stronger and America weaker. We didn't open our doors to German and Japanese "refugees" during WWII. Why would be open our doors to Muslim "refugees" during the 21st Century Jihad?

never forget how effortlessly people in power can normalize, rationalize and bargain away their core beliefs in pursuit of the bottom line

Whose "core belief" is it to resettle as many Muslims as possible in the United States? Not that of the American people.

Whose "core belief" is it to eviscerate American self-government in favor of globalist open-borders where Americans can no longer control who comes into the country or whether American laws can support the prosperity of American workers and American industry? Not that of the American people.

It's telling that the Left is calling on the GOPe globalists to resist Trump America-first policies in favor of their "core beliefs."

The down side is, I now firmly believe the RATs are willing to forgo any SCJ during DJT’s time in office.

That would be at the risk of having Trump campaign against them in the 2018 Senate races.

Watch them fold as 2018 approaches, or way before that, because, Trump will remember.

It’s a poem on the base of a statue given to us by the French. It’s not the constitution.

I think we can get votes from Trump state Dem Senators who want to be reelected in 2018.

“I think the first thing he will do is try to hold industry hostage again.”

That is a risk that I also worry about...but Trump doesn’t answer to anyone, so if the unions start to really get nasty again, he will find ways to weaken them.

I once heard that we took our labor model to Japan after World War 2, and it performed just like here - crippling strikes non-stop. So MacArthur simply re-wrote the law (or their Constitution, he had that power) and that was the end of labor trouble...and that is still the case today over there.

Unions only represent 7% of the US private sector workforce. They are NOT a real threat anymore.

The authors of this article were in on the ground floor of Politico, when it was founded. So beware.

Branson wasn’t there. I think the Obamas were house-sitting for him.

Mind the sappers.

People like McCain have been embarrassed. Having spent decades he has not shown much more than a record of corruption and weakness.

They will find comfort in the mob.
