That reminds me. I need to go to Home Depot and find someone to replace my toilet before it becomes cost prohibitive.

Cute, but I'm not laughing. The illegal you hire to do that job, stole it from me.

Lighten up. I have friends in the local Plumbers/Pipefitters union who can do it low cost, in accordance with code and the piping will remain parallel and perpendicular with my bathroom walls.

Are you in skilled trades?

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

Or How about a 20% TAX on Tickets for Entertainment,Movies,TV,Concerts,Sports<...to Fund The Entertainment Industries Global Warming Project?

“There are certain things that we accept as facts with no alternatives. The Earth is becoming warmer due to human action. The diversity of life arose by evolution.”

Scientists should always be open to alternative thinking. These people are zealots, not scientists.

Lighten up.

I will not "lighten up".

You made a thoughtless wisecrack about hiring a plumber at Home Depot, which is code for hiring an illegal. I told you that you'd be giving that job to someone who stole it from me.

Just what did you think I meant by that? Of course, I'm a skilled tradesman. Why else would I respond that way?

The rat bastard invaders and their employers have stolen over a million dollars off my family's table over the last ten years. They stole ten years of our financial security and future retirement savings. After 20 years in business, we're no better off than we were on the day we opened the shop. At 63, I'm now looking at working until 75 to secure some type of assets for my wife and kids before I go.

I've worked since 1979 to build myself up in my chosen field, only to have the best, most productive years of it, ripped right out my hands by treasonous politicians who were on the take to the progressive globalist.

They purposely let the invaders in here, and didn't give a damn about the destruction the caused to small family businesses like mine.

You want me to lighten up? Tell it to my wife and kids.

Not to be a nitpicker, because I agree with your post completely except for you ending where you misstated the total amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. You said,

"take up only 0.04% of the atmosphere. That’s it! Not even a 1/2 of 1%."

1/2 of 1% is .5%. So .04% is not even 1/20th of 1%.

.
The only sensible way to deal with the illegal aliens is to jail those that hire them.

Just do it now, and we won’t even have to worry about who pays for a wall.

Believe me, I meant no offense. I’m sorry to hear about your plight. I’ve never intentionally hired an illegal in my life.

I have extensive experience with and have very high regard for skilled tradespeople. I’ve said here before and I will say it again. Skilled tradespeople built America.

I wish you and your family well.

“The Earth is becoming warmer due to human action.”

No, it did not.

I think anyone claiming this using the usual opinion should have their college degrees revoked.

Our youngest daughter had long time boy friend who was a highly skilled construction worker. He worked mostly on high rises and large commercial structures. Even at that he barely scraped by because the wages paid for that type of work are very low because of the influence of low paid foreign workers. A couple generations ago a person who was good at that type of work could make decent money even just building houses.

My father is a retired home builder and still active in the carpenter’s union apprentice program. That has been a struggling trade these days.

Thanks for understanding, and for doing what you can to support your fellow Americans.

We're good.

When I was just out of high school in the early seventies, it was well understood by myself and my peers that the skilled trades were an honorable, well paying profession, that could secure a good life for a young man and his family.

At that time, the entry level jobs in construction were hard to come by. You either had to know someone, or be plain lucky to get in.

When I started my construction business 20 years ago, illegals were mostly employed as grunt labor on big job sites. I didn’t see them as a present or future threat to my trade or my personal livelihood. Little did I know, that within ten years, not only would the trades be infested with them, but I’d be competing directly with contractors who were illegals themselves.

I won’t go into all the gory details, but I will say that I’ve had a huge chunk of my life ripped away by these people. I’m happy to see that we finally have a President who seems determined to do something about it, but I doubt my family and I will ever be made whole.

I'm 100% down with that. I think turning off the magnets of jobs and welfare is even more important than building the wall. Just do that, and they won't have any reason to come here, or to stay.

Thank God for Donald Trump! The Republican establishment planned nothing more than lip service to correct this issue. Trump is the driving force that will get America moving in the right direction.
