It is astounding how much misinformation and lack of knowledge there is regarding Syria today. This is ground zero for the war on ISIS and Jihadist Fascism, yet very few know what’s really going on. You are soon to be among them.
...fact is that the Arab Military Councils in the Corridor have joined with the Kurdish YPG (Peoples Protection Units). Even more significant is the formation of a coalition between Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, Assyrian Christians, Yazidis, and Turkmen called the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC).
The SDC is the leader of all anti-ISIS, anti-Salafi, anti-Turkish imperialist, pro-democracy efforts in Northern Syria from Qamishli (the capital of Syrian Kurdistan) to Latakia on the Mediterranean. It oversees four million civilians, and a total of 80,000 police and military forces collectively known as the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

That crap has been going on for hundreds of years and nothing is going to stop it.
If the dust ever settles in the Middle East, let me know who won - but in the meantime, keep the savages the hell out of our country.

Trump should partner with these folks to destroy the Turks, who are really really bad people.
Concludes that Turkey is the West end bad guy in the Middle East, a fact not disputed by FReepers in the know, but ignored Rats, GOPee, NATO, EU and Globalists galore.
Not mentioned is Assad's legacy Syria that didn't have these problems, and where the pan Arab groups had protections.
Also not mentioned is the US involvement and the destabilization of Assad's Syria by US policy and "Arab Spring" subterfuge, and Saudi - Sunni money and arms influence.
Yet the "Women's March" and Women's Rights gets major credit.
Conclusion: Trump should get Turkey out of NATO (agreed) but the rest of NATO and US policy in the ME is beyond criticism.
Pretty narrow focus, I would say, missing 90% of the problem.
