Drain the swamp
This is going to be one of those stories thats either awesome or horrifying, depending on your predilections. If youre a creature of Washington who believes in the sage wisdom of nonpartisan career bureaucrats, then youre horrified that these fine, experienced public servants feel they cant serve under the wild-eyed lunatic Donald Trump. If youre interested in draining the swamp, on the other hand, its hard to get more drainy than this:
YAY, goodbye!! Obviously all of them would have been sabateurs.
They resigned? That was worthwhile.
The incoming administration receives pro forma resignation letters from the senior staff. They aren’t necessarily accepted. It’s SOP with every new administration.
Sorry, but all top level administers submit de rigeur “letters of resignation” prior to 1/20. Much to their surprise, they were accepted and are not eligible for unemployment benefits.
Sometimes draining the swamp requires that the creatures leave before they are themselves drained.
Bye bye.
More jobs for Trumpers.
Best news of the day. Good riddance!
....and they are leaving the winning side to go over to which other side, exactly?
Oh, thank God!!! That is SO fantastic! Been a long time a coming!
Can’t make anything out - is there a link to that chart?
It’s a good start. Drain the Swamp!
I’m wondering if these tender dumplings have any knowledge of Hillary’s illegal email server and said nothing about it. I assume they all left good forwarding addresses just in case the subpoenas start flying...
The guy that resigned was complicit in denying requests for better embassey security in Benghazi and elsewhere
The other 3 that resigned were close associates of him.
Wait! You guys can’t resign...
YOU’RE FIRED!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent essay. This is to advise you that your chances for securing a position — even if you wanted one — in a government organization hovers between zero, nada and zilch!
That said, please share your thoughts with as many others as possible.
It’s a good start.
