Dallas is in competition with Austin and Houston to become TX’s most liberal “mecca”.

That’s just downtown. The other towns and cities surrounding Dallas, esp the ones to the north, are still very conservative - and we outnumber downtown by a lot!

I agree. Since the killing of the police officers in Dallas last summer, Dallas has moved up a notch or two in the liberal rankings. We may have to build a fence around Dallas, or drain the swamp as Trump puts it, to resolve any future conflicts with the more progressive natives and their values. Definitely do not drive through Dallas with a Trump bumper sticker or a Confederate flag openly displayed on your car or pickup, otherwise you will be asking for trouble.

In the meantime, just be aware when in Dallas that the liberals heads are exploding all over the place as a result of Trump’s election and take precautions if you are a conservative living in or passing through that environment. It would be better to stay away if you can avoid it.
