After reading yet another report of insanity at the “Women’s March. Mrs BN said, “I can see now why men did not want to give the Vote to women.”
And just to prove my misogyny: Men are Golden Retrievers and women are Chihuahua’s. Imagine a Golden Retriever with the temperament of a Chihuahua. When God gave men greater physical power, he gave them the temperament needed to control it. (not that there are not outliers).
“I can see now why men did not want to give the Vote to women.”

A lot of women - mainly the pushy, overbearing, obnoxious, holier than thou types - I have absolutely no problem reminding them that Black Men got to vote before them.
Well, they were afforded the right to, whether they got to the ballot box or not is another story...
I remember always thinking the Girls in HS were ‘smarter’ than me.
But as I grew older I just realized I was being a Gentleman, and a little white lie can sometimes be told if it makes others FEEL better.
Same as I used to say I was sane and had a paper to prove it.
I was referring to my psych evals for Submarine Service, and again - as I grew older - I figured out that basic Armed Forces test was not to prove one sane, it was to prove that one was CRAZY enough to sink a perfectly good ship and live in it, jump out of a perfectly good airplane, swim 20 miles at night etc etc etc
Generally, women tend to be more verbal, since they tend to be more relational.
The interesting thing is, although women often have higher passive vocabularies (being relation-oriented), they often have lower active vocabularies (being feeling-oriented).
I am in Mensa. I have an extremely high verbal quotient, and a high active vocabulary. My best friend has a higher verbal quotient - validated a few years ago when she got a preposterously high score on a test designed for genius IQ types (i.e., not for the average person) - yet her active vocabulary is below mine.
(I did very well on that test: 48 of 60. She did 53 of 60.)
