To insult its viewers with lying State Dept. Valley Girl is not good policy for McCallum's new show. Too bad, they just killed her off IMHO.

Management hires these folks as Contributors, and then decides which show(s) they are going to stick them on. I doubt Martha McCallum had much input in the decision, and will have to make the most of what she is stuck with. Don’t blame Martha. She has no input on the hiring of Contributors.
Now, Donald Trump, that’s another story. He, in collusion with Rupert Murdoch, got rid of George Will whom he loathes, and got Fox to hire Nigel Farage (Brexit mastermind in the U.K.) who was advising candidate Trump informally during the lead-up to the Convention, and then afterwards during the transition period. Now he can be an advocate for Trump as a Contributor on Fox News. Trump, of course, now has pull, doesn’t he, lol. Martha McCallum, not so much.
