You have given some good suggestions on titles to read in the past, so...I am going to check this one out. I didn’t have much interest in reading it before, but as you said, might fill in some blanks for me.
The great thing about The Art of the Deal is that you can open it to any page and just start reading.
It’s almost akin to a Kurt Vonnegut Stream of consciousness format, but with redeeming qualities.

The only reason even I have Trumps’ book in my house is that it was required reading for my wife when getting her MBA.
It was published the year I graduated high school, a lifetime ago!
