We know Trump is not a stock “conservative” but we will get what we want
But in many way Trump reminds me of rights version of two Roosevelt’s... Teddy and Franklin ...some of this is FDR new deal some is TR trust busting nationalism and some is pure Ronald Reagan... whatever it is its sure dynamic
Thanks.
One suggestion Trump could offer is for many of the corporations to prepare to hire American citizens, then remove H1B visas and ship off all of the supposedly temporary immigrants.
Good point, your post #19.
30 Days huh?
That is a challenge to a society that has been weaned that if you want to put up a stop light after 4 accidents in 2 days at the same intersection, one must make an environmental impact study (6 mos-1 yr), a consultant to see if really needed, bid the job out, set a date, regulate the crap out of the contractor and MAYBE, just MAYBE a stop light is there after 3 or so years.
Then when it gets installed, it has to be about 6 months before it goes into use.
I think this is another case of Trump playing 3 dimensional chess while the Dems in Congress play checkers.
I see this as “What can the Federal Government do to stimulate job creation”. You know the CEO’s are going to ask for lower corporate taxes, less regulation, ability to repatriate overseas profits etc.
This will give Trump the “stick” to put it all on Congress to pass the appropriate legislation.
If Congress falters, it’s all on them, especially Democrats. Trump is ALWAYS thinking 3 steps ahead.
This winning stuff is getting addictive.

Thanks for the explanation. As you said, Trump is always several moves ahead in big league negotiations. I doubt his political opponents will ever rise to his level of game, which means that he (and the American people) will always win.
