Chris Wallace, the Democrat mouthpiece on Fox News, said this morning that Press Sec. Spicer should not have said anything about the inauguration numbers controversy. However, these photos were used by the Democrat media to discredit Pres. Trump and further the DNC theme that Pres. Trump is an illegitimate leader, voted in by the minority of Americans. The msm should be fought at every turn, or Pres. Trump will wind up as discredited as Pres. George W Bush, who did not confront them about their lies. They should be slapped down every time they slant the news.

When were these photos taken? It took Trump supporters hours to clear security and many actually missed the swearing in because of the security bottle necks caused by the slow checks and several of the 12 gates being blocked by Soros funded protests that kept Trump supporters out. Where were the stories about the protestors who deprived many families, who had driven hours to come, from witnessing the swearing in.

This is a great and truthful post. The pic and numbers of attendance would not be a big deal but the left keep pushing this "he did not get the majority of votes" "He won because of Russia" "He's not legitimate" so this stuff NEEDS to be addressed at every turn. Chris Wallace, like most in the media, should not be listened to on ANYTHING regarding what Trump should and should not do. The media also says he should not tweet anymore. Forget them and their RINO, losing strategy.

Considering all the crowd size was good.

That picture was taken hours before the inauguration.
By 12 noon, the Mall was packed all the way to the Washington Monument.

Additionally, this year security required the entire Mall be fenced, with only a few understaffed access portals. Obama had free and open access in 2009, with no fences and security portals.

Also, no official entity makes crowd estimates on these kinds of events. They gave it up years ago because the estimates were inaccurate and used for political purposes.

The Park Police don’t; the Metropolitan Police don’t; the Capitol police don’t.

Here is an example of what a true analysis might reveal on Mall crowd estimates, done after the Tea Party rally in 2009: http://humanevents.com/2009/09/16/numbers-game-how-many-really-attended-the-sep-12-rally/

I’ll bet this is the first inauguration broadcast live in Slovenia.
Read Melania’s hometown made a three day event out of it.
Can only imagine how proud they are. Rightfully.

It’s not surprising. During the primaries, Jeremy Diamond of CNN was “covering” the Trump rally in Little Rock, AR. He was sending out pictures saying that the reports of thousands attending was a lie. The pictures he sent out showed just a small number of people. It turned out he was sending out pictures taken hours before the rally started, yet CNN was running them on their website as being representative of the number of people at the rally.

In the end the only number that counts is 306, the rest are just unneeded vanity and will fade away with time.

Agree. MSM has lost all credibility and has to create a fight to cause viewership.

The Donald et al will not put up with their BS, only believe what we say which they have gotten away with for years because no one would call them out.

That has changed and you will be called out in a way that will further expose you.

We have spoken, and “ we are not going to take it any more”

It occurred to me when I started seeing these pictures that we had no way of knowing whether the Trump picture was actually taken on Jan 20. And even if it was, what time of the day? Would the honorable American media publish a picture of a sparsely attended rally on the Mall and knowingly mislabel it as evidence that Trump’s inauguration was less popular than Obama’s?

In asking the question, I had my answer.

Fake news, fake photo.

I heard pundits on Fox yesterday criticizing Spicer for doing that. However, I think that Spicer did exactly what needs to be done. Don’t just call out the media on their lies, but do it immediately. Otherwise, the lie has time to sweep through the media and become a major talking point, and attempts to communicate the correct version go nowhere. The left is always ready to promulgate the big lies; we have to be just as ready to counter them.

There is also the dynamic that if you don’t correct a problem early on, it just grows. President G. W. Bush made the mistake of allowing the media to run with lies and never called them out on it; as a result, his reputation was irredeemably destroyed.

Well stated in all regards.

Dana PeRino will pontificate about the “ tone” of the Trump press corps, while she and the “ Architect” Karl Rove allowed Bush to be denigrated by not fighting back and what did we get 4 years of fake “ hope & change” followed by another non fighter “ Mittens” who gave us another 4.

We now have someone who cares about us, and will not tolerate untruths.

Go Donald.....

Yes, this is what I’ve been trying to say, there was no open access. This time people had to filter through a couple of check points which caused a bottle neck into see the inauguration speech. By the time the ceremony was in full swing more and more people were filtering in and by the end it was filled. It is important to combat the leftwing lies.

Chrissy “ the wise” just spouts his drivel and the heads on the couch listen to him like he is some “prophet”.

As you have stated he is just a mouthpiece.

Also watching Bret Baier a little last night you can see him boiling at points when he discusses Trump.

These bozos ( Judge Jeannine, Laura Ingram, Tucker, Hannity excluded) need to realize we view them as Shills, and disregard their “ opinions”

Ah so they were doing this during the campaign? Lying about DJT rally size? What sleeze balls.

Thomas Barrack head of the Inaugural Committee on CNN last night estimated 1.5-1.8 million but I think he was including the swearing in and parade.

A “friend” of mine on Facebook posted the misleading crowd size photo even before Trump had taken the oath. I called him out and it stirred up quite a debate. Sad that people couldn’t give it a rest for a day we as a country should be celebrating the peaceful transition of power.

Here is a link that has crowd size photos for several recent inaugurations.

*NOW*, all of a sudden, they want to use “crowd size” at an inaugural as an indicator that is relevant?

Yes, and they will ride the “popular vote” nonsense for the next 3 years, 362 days, 14 hours, nine minutes, and 47 seconds until TRUMP ‘20!

I saw video of protesters locked in arms shutting down an entrance and blocking access to members of the military in uniform. Disgusting.

Any rash strewn pictures from Trump inauguration?

Or did Obama’s crowd beat Donald on that too?
