Lewis means NOTHING to this country....he was certainly a civil rights leader, and was severely injured in his efforts....
But, and he can’t seem to acknowledge that it was DEMOCRATS who were beating him up.....the march to Selma was in ALABAMA where George Wallace was the governor, the one who stood in the doorway of the university of Alabama and wouldn’t let blacks enter (until he discovered that they could play football)....anyway, after the tumult and beatings....HE JOINED THEM........HE BECAME A DEMOCRAT....HOW STUPID CAN THAT BE???????
The old Lewis may have meant something. That doesn’t translate into the present Lewis having some kind of halo.
A lot of folly needs to be unrolled in the civil rights movement, which got badly hijacked by racist agitators who really have a lot of cheek.
