Maybe Trump isn’t planning on doing that much entertaining at the WH.
She may use commercial planners for events. She knows all of the good ones.

IIRC Mrs Obama’s first social secretary was a freaking disaster. She had some connection with Michelle from Chicago, I believe. Totally incompetent, yet arrogant - had to be shoved out.
The First Lady’s “job” is to be the President’s wife. How much staff is needed to do that?
Maybe she just wants to be a mom and wife and leave the job of potus to her husband.
Maybe she'll decide not to have any 'staff' at all. Wouldn't that be refreshing? There could just be the White House staff that handles communication for the whole family.
She'll probably end up hiring some folks, but I'm hoping it will be pared down from Michelle Obama's staff.

There’s no role in the Constitution for the First Spouse and we don’t vote for them either.

She probably already has a private Secretary. Doesn’t take long to fill any of those slots once SS has cleared them, many can come out of the Military already cleared and ready to start on day 1.
